( Personality) : To sum up Black☆Star in just one word is practically impossible, but ignorant seems to be a good start. Perhaps we should add obnoxious, crude, juvenile, haughty, self-absorbed...

The list goes on.

Black☆Star is a teenage boy, particularly around the 14-15 year old range, born in a violent, greedy clan and raised in a prestigious academy. He's well known for his loud voice and his violent tendencies. He goes on and on about his fame, the greatness of his existence, and the sole fact that he will transcend to godhood in due time. Black☆Star hardly lacks in the department of pride, and it's even so much so that it gets in the way of his growth. His soul, as stated by Stein, is a "self-absorbed soul", meaning that he mainly has his self-proclaimed "spotlight" glued to himself.

He prides himself in his brute strength and his abilities with Tsubaki. And though only she knows that he considers her a major part in his success, to everyone else he's a self-proclaimed god and made only with perfection. This makes him difficult to become friends with, especially when it comes to working together as a team where wants to be the lead.

Black☆Star loves to shout. His love for being the main character of his tale and the star of the show is proven time and time again when he boasts and shouts for both acceptance and attention. If he believes the attention is drawn to someone else, he immediately goes agro in terms of fighting for that attention. This includes, but is not limited to, beating the everloving crap out of the individual receiving attention. See: His first encounter with Death the Kid, where he waited an entire day just to pick a fight with the son of Death.

Although he's loud, proud, and obnoxious, Black☆Star does have a soft side to him that people really just need to be patient to witness. He's got a god complex, sure, but the hero complex seems to come with the package deal. Black☆Star takes friendship very seriously, and he will go great lengths to not only defend those he calls friends, but seek out revenge to those who have already been hurt. This is shown when Black☆Star purposefully goes to find the one responsible for injuring Maka to the point of being paralyzed. He goes into things hot-headed and fully loaded with brute force and the ever-appreciated hand of Tsubaki, his weapon.

Black☆Star is a Dark-Arms Meister, meaning that he fights with the assistance and partnership of a weapon. His goal is to succeed in making Tsubaki a death-scythe, just as every other student of DWMA is currently working towards. He takes his job (seriously?) with great pride, though many of his first attempts are complete failures. Black☆Star may be an assassin, but he seems to wish taking other means of new-found tradition besides the norm. He's hardly the silent attacker, blowing his cover constantly with his infamous shouting of "YAHOOOO" before making a move.

But, just as Tsubaki always tries to make clear, he's not all that bad of a guy once you get to know him.

( Strengths/Weaknesses ) :
Physical Fitness (Strength): Black☆Star trains daily, and sometimes more than just that. He'll dole out self-punishment if he gets a question wrong during his studies, or even if he just feels that he is failing himself. His arms are tough and strong from the constant physical tasks he puts on himself. He's very proficient in hand-to-hand combat.

He's got a god-complex (both a strength and a weakness): Black☆Star has a hefty goal which is very simple: to transcend to godhood and take a place in the hierarchy that is so rightfully for him. He believes that he was born much too early, that the current times are too weak and feeble for the likes of someone as big and strong as himself. This simple thought drives him to do every single thing he accomplishes, and also fails.

While his belief of deserved godhood is something that actually makes him the strong individual he is, it also slows him down just as bad. Tsubaki might be by his side 100%, but she unfortunately has to witness a ton of downfalls when it comes to his selfish and narcissistic nature. It stops him from being able to resonate his soul with an entire group, and it frustrates his team when he can't cooperate because he believes they are slowing him down.

Assassin/Ninja abilities (Strength): Even if Black☆Star doesn't entirely believe in being the silent killer in the night, he's still very fast in both speed and reflex. His proficiency in weaponry also is a major help in this fact. The many forms of Tsubaki are a huge part of that.

He's loud (WEAKNESS): Seriously. That's all there is to be said on the matter.
